M.O.M.-AZ on the Road to Expansion!

Mission of Mercy Arizona recently acquired a new 43-foot RV to bolster its plans for expansion into the Far West Valley by late 2010.

Thanks to the charitable commitment of Tucson-based Beaudry RV, Inc. Mission of Mercy Arizona was able to secure a great deal on the purchase price of the van. A special thanks also goes to Thunderbird Charities, The Foster and Lynn Friess Family Foundation and The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, whose generous financial contributions made the purchase and medical retrofit possible.

The mobile unit should be ready to "hit the road" by the end of September. Read more about this exciting expansion news!

Welcome to Mission of Mercy-Arizona, a place where miracles of healing through Love occur every day! Since 1997 Mission of Mercy has been "bringing the doctor to the people" by taking a mobile medical unit to host sites throughout Maricopa County and providing free medical care and prescriptions to the uninsured, working poor and homeless of Maricopa County.

At Mission of Mercy, no one is denied care. For most us, being sick is an inconvenience; for our patients, it's a catastrophe. So, for over a decade, Mission of Mercy has provided a safe, non-judgmental medical home for people who cannot afford health care and are struggling to keep their families and their lives together.

At Mission of Mercy, we are committed that our patients receive an opportunity to:

Building A Stronger Community...One Life at a Time. The day-to-day work of our clinics depends on 250 unpaid volunteers and community partners who donate over $450,000 in annual pro bono services. Medical staff and volunteers work collaboratively with patients and families to help them understand their medical conditions and take preventive action to avoid costly complications and further illness. Since beginning our work in 1997, we have provided no-cost medical care and prescriptions to more than 43,000 patients and delivered more than 118,000 individual patient visits to families throughout Maricopa County.

Headquartered in Phoenix but serving the broader Maricopa County area, the Arizona mobile program provides the following no cost services:

Through our network of community partners, patients also receive free:

All services are provided free, regardless of race, color, creed, national origin or religion.

Mission of Mercy Arizona is a 501 (c)(3) organization and is fully funded by private donations and grants.
