Since 1994, Mission of Mercy has successfully maintained a cadre of medical and non-medical volunteers who provide free healthcare, free dental care and free prescription medications. Mission of Mercy enjoys low turnover among its volunteers and they are clearly among the most dedicated volunteer health care professionals in the region. Last year, Mission of Mercy's medical professionals in Arizona, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Texasvolunteered nearly 24,000 hours valued at $1,011,435. Additionally, over 650 members currently serve in Mission of Mercy's Auxiliary, MOM's Family. Volunteer greeters, translators and registration staff work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
